A dedication ceremony to honor Hester C. Jeffrey with a plaque at Memorial AME Zion Church. The plaque is funded by the William G. Pomeroy Foundation and the Women’s Suffrage Centennial Commission and will join hundreds of other markers on the National Votes for Women Trail. Robin Nowell will re-enact Hester Jeffrey at the dedication ceremony.
